The Flowstate Outdoors Expo - Wodonga, Victoria - March 1st 2025
Twenty Twenty Five (2025) has started with a bang! On the 1st of March, we attended the Flowstate Outdoors Expo — the first of its kind, organised by good friend Wade Kelly (founder of Flowstate Productions) and Melanie Kirley (avid outdoorswoman with a history of event planning and marketing in the industry).

The Day
Held at the Wodonga Racecourse and Exhibition Centre, on the Victorian / New South Wales border, the weather turned it on and we were greeted with a stunning 30-plus degree day and blue skies. At 9am attendees flocked to the site and visited up to 50 vendors who had taken the time to set up stores within the site.
Running throughout the day were some incredible live demos featuring guest chefs and experts in their respective fields:

- "Bait To Plate" — A Masterclass Of Fish Prep & Cooking with Aaron Teece

- "Deli Delight" — Sausage & Salami Making Basics with Jo Barrett
- "Not Shot" — Food From The Ocean For Those With Poor Aim with David Moyle
- "Skin Tanning Secrets" — Tips & Tricks To Tanning A Perfect Hide with The Tannery Bar
- "Grilled & Gathered" — Whole Wild Harvested Goat Cooked Over Fire with Grilled & Gathered Co
As part of this expo, we set up a Spotted Safaris x Twin Elements booth and took great pleasure meeting likeminded individuals throughout the day — sharing hunting stories, giving gear tips, talking chital deer hunts and upcoming media releases across our Twin Elements pages.
When the expo had run its course, the final part of the day was to reveal the lucky door prize winners — starting with our very own highly coveted chital deer safari in 2026, with the lucky winner set to have a most memorable hunt. Congratulations to all those who walked away with prizes on the day! We also gave away 10 framed custom prints, now available on the Twin Elements shop, live on our website.
From the Field
The Evening
Following the day's events, the evening kicked off with a Yeti hosted VIP fine dining experience. 100 lucky attendees were treated to some delicious meals prepared by our guest chefs — a reminder as to just how magical dining experiences can be when featuring wild caught and sourced proteins. Hunting and fishing has such a strong connection to our food, and hopefully, as displayed so perfectly by our chefs on the day, focusing on this point can help present hunting, fishing and our outdoor lifestyles in a new and positive light.
The event concluded with a live podcast, hosted by Wade Kelly with special guests Adam Greentree, Nick Morton, Ayden and James Doumtsis. We touched on our introductions to bowhunting specifically, the future of hunting in Australia, and more, before turning it over to the crowd for a live Q&A. There was plenty of knowledge passed around and just general banter which was great to be a part of.
